Habit: Compact carpets, creeping shoots.
Size: 5-8 cm tall.
Flowers: Bilabial, tiny, numerous, crimson to carmine; July to August.
Leaves: Linear to slenderly elliptical, dark green, very aromatic.
Demands: Sun, tolerates heat, likes warmth, frost hardy.
Soil: Dry to moderately fresh, always well-drained substrates.
