Habit: Loose clumps, stocky, never soil-covering.
Size: 30-40 cm tall and wide.
Flowers: Star-shaped, carmine-pink in large umbel-like inflorescences, August to October.
Leaves: Broadly ovoid, pale blue-green, coarse-leathery.
Demands: Sun, likes warmth, frost hardy.
Soil: Moderately dry to fresh, well-drained, humic, sandy or gravely loam; needs staking on heavy soil where it rots quickly.
