Habit: Upright clumps with unbranched stalks, extensive runners, rhizome barrier recommended.
Size: 60-100 cm.
Flowers: White, slightly gracefully curved terminal racemes, shaped in a manner resembling a goose’s neck, long flowering period, July to September.
Leaves: Light to dull green, broad ovate, intense orange-red autumn colour.
Demands: Sun to semi-shade, cool, humid, frost hardy.
Soil: Fresh to moist, rich in humus, nutritious, on sandy soils not too dry.
Note: Stalks lose foliage.
