Lonicera japonica repens (Himalayas)
Habit: Creeping or twining, mat-like shrub, 0.5-1 m tall; up to 3 m tall on support, fast-growing.
Flowers: Whitish yellow in terminal whorls, June to July, pleasantly fragrant, persistent, occasionally with second flowers.
Fruits: Coral berries from September on.
Leaves: Semi-evergreen or deciduous, in wine-growing areas evergreen; elliptical, dark green.
Demands: Slight shade to semi-shade, leaf damage in winter or leaf loss; usually winter hardy; not demanding.
Soil: All substrates, prefers fresh, chalky loam.
Hardiness: Zone 6b
