Habit: Shrub, 1.5-2 m tall, 1.5 m wide, dense and bushy, upright to gradually arching, overhanging.
Flowers: Light yellow to cream-white butterfly flowers, April to May, very conspicuous flowering shrub, pungent smell.
Leaves: Lanceolate-linear, up to 2 cm long, light green.
Roots: Near the surface, collect nitrogen.
Demands: Full sun, very frost hardy, good for industrial areas.
Soil: Well drained, sandy, slightly acidic to neutral, sensitive to chalk.
