Acer negundo ‘Variegatum’ (= A. negundo argenteovariegatum)
Habit: Picturesque small tree, 5-7 (10) m tall, slow-growing and smaller than the normal variety.
Leaves: White spots.
Demands: Not as robust as the species, best on fresh to moist, well drained soil in sunny or slightly shady areas.
Note: The normal, green-leaf twigs that sometimes develop are best cut in summer or autumn. The green twigs grow faster than the variegated ones and lead the tree to turn green.
Hardiness: Zone 5a
